1. Scope of Services

The scope of each project will be defined in a written proposal or agreement prior to the commencement of work.

Services may include concept development, space planning, material and finishes selection, furniture specification, visual presentations, and project coordination.

Any services requested outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately.

2. Fees and Payment

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure the project and initiate work.

The remaining balance will be invoiced according to the agreed payment schedule outlined in the proposal. Payments are due within the period stated on the invoice.

Late payments may result in the suspension of services.

All third-party purchases (including furniture, materials, and décor) must be paid in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

• Provide accurate information regarding the space and project objectives

• Grant access to the property when required

• Review and approve proposals in a timely manner

• Communicate clearly and promptly throughout the project

Delays in communication or approvals may impact the project timeline.

4. Revisions

The proposal may include a defined number of revisions. Additional revisions or significant changes to the agreed scope may incur additional fees.

Orders placed with suppliers cannot be cancelled or modified once confirmed, unless permitted by the supplier’s own terms.

5. Third-Party Suppliers and Contractors

Where contractors or suppliers are involved, agreements are made directly between the Client and the respective third party, unless otherwise specified in writing.

Nicolle Rios is not responsible for the performance, quality, or timelines of third-party services.

6. Intellectual Property

All design concepts, drawings, and visual materials remain the intellectual property of Nicolle Rios unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The Designer reserves the right to document and publish completed projects for portfolio and marketing purposes, unless confidentiality is formally requested by the Client.

7. Timelines

Estimated timelines will be provided at the beginning of the project. While every effort is made to meet projected deadlines, timelines may be affected by client delays, supplier lead times, contractor schedules, or unforeseen circumstances.

8. Liability

Nicolle Rios’ liability shall be limited to the total amount of design fees paid by the Client.

The Designer shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Portugal.

10. Acceptance

By engaging the services of Nicolle Rios, the Client acknowledges acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
