This project stems from a familiar relationship: clients we had previously worked with in Portugal who, now living in Pelotas, once again sought our curatorial vision to transform their home into a space aligned with their way of living.

Projeto de Design de Interiores
The starting point emerged from the living room — and its true protagonist: the projector.
To ensure the best experience, we proposed a complete layout shift. The main challenge of the environment was the off-center fireplace located on the wall that was originally intended to be the focal point. Our solution was to create a volume that embraced this condition, allowing the fireplace to shine while balancing the composition with complementary elements: on the opposite side, illuminated books with small surface-mounted mini spots create subtle, contemporary visual equilibrium.
With an almost monochromatic base, contrast appears in the right places: the standout sofa, the warm wooden tones present in the kitchen and entrance hall, and the special detail of the muxarabi ceiling — a textured, light-filtered element that guides the eye through the spaces. In the kitchen, the organic island crafted in natural wood becomes the main feature. Its dual-layer effect and rounded edges soften the volume, while the 10×10 stone tiles add texture and authenticity.
For the suite, we took the opposite direction of the social area. Here, wood becomes the protagonist, immediately creating a feeling of warmth. The central element is the wooden panel that extends into the light-linen upholstered headboard, with slatted details that add texture, rhythm, and a soft contrast — shaping a cozy, serene, and intimate retreat.
In the powder room, aesthetic autonomy takes center stage. Ironically, the highlight is found on the ceiling: a tensioned-fabric light feature that mimics natural daylight and creates a scenographic effect — exactly the kind of unexpected statement one hopes for in a powder room. Echoing the living area, the same stone cladding was applied to the main wall and the exterior of the sink, which is carved internally in Calacatta Viola marble, a unique piece designed exclusively for this space. A bronze mirror wall expands the room and reflects the wooden panel with its concealed door, enhancing the sense of depth and continuity.
