CASA FLORA

More than an interior design project, this apartment represents a continuous line through time. A space that has passed from one generation to the next, gathering layers of life, affection, and memory. Today, it is transformed once again — not to erase the past, but to reveal the personality of those who live there: simple, welcoming, and deeply connected to what truly matters.

The proposal respects the apartment’s reduced scale, understanding that every choice needed to be precise and meaningful. The layout was designed to encourage fluidity and comfort, free from excess, allowing materials, proportions, and light to shape the atmosphere. A light, neutral base visually expands the spaces and sets the stage for a project built through details. Scandinavian references emerge in the pursuit of functional simplicity, a soft palette, and the appreciation of natural light. Mid-century influences appear subtly, through furniture lines, balanced proportions, and the presence of wood as a bridge between past and present.

For the suite, we took the opposite direction of the social area. Here, wood becomes the protagonist, immediately creating a feeling of warmth. The central element is the wooden panel that extends into the light-linen upholstered headboard, with slatted details that add texture, rhythm, and a soft contrast — shaping a cozy, serene, and intimate retreat.
